Beef stew and mashed potato
A British classic and a dish I cook regularly at home. I slow cook the beef until it falls apart and love the way it fills the house with a delicious and comforting smell. I use 100% British beef and a range of traditional root vegetables including carrot, parsnip, swede and carrot to pack a nutritional punch as well as a great taste.
Health benefits: Iron-rich foods like lean beef will boost your energy levels which you need when coping with the demands of a new-born baby! Breastfeeding mamas need to eat extra protein and vitamin B-12. Lean beef is an excellent source for both.
