Chicken and bacon pot pie
Description: Another favourite in our household this is a Nigella recipe that I tweaked, again to add in more vegetables upping the nutritional content. Crack the crisp puff pastry lid to reveal succulent chicken thighs in a delicious chicken gravy flavoured with smoky bacon and aromatic thyme. Served with a side of creamy mashed potato – heaven!

Ingredients: chicken thighs, streaky bacon, mushrooms, peas, garlic, plain flour (gluten), chicken stock (celery), puff pastry (wheat flour), potato (butter, milk)
