Slow braised pork shoulder with cider and parsnips (GF)
One of my husband’s all-time favourites!! Shoulder is the perfect cut for this slow cooked stew which is packed with traditional English flavours and is perfect with a side of creamy mashed potato. For those breastfeeding mamas – don’t worry, the alcohol from the cider is burned off during the cooking process (shame!) To make this dish gluten free I’ve simply omitted the flour so the sauce is a little looser than with the version that contains flour but don’t worry it’s just as delicious!!
